About Me
I was introduced to reflexology by a family friend over 20 years ago and instantly found the benefits relaxing and rewarding but most of all, insightful. Having always enjoyed a holistic approach to health, this treatment soon became a firm favourite of mine.
I have worked in accounts for the last thirty years and know first hand how stressful work life can affect your health and well-being. Having reflexology myself has definitely helped me maintain a work/life balance and this is what helped me decide to train and become a reflexologist and help others.

Reflexology is a complementary therapy that involves applying pressure to specific points on the feet or hands, known as reflexes. It is based on the theory that these reflexes correspond to different organs and systems of the body, and that by applying pressure to them, it can help to promote healing, relaxation, and balance in the body. It can also increase blood flow and stimulate your body's natural healing powers.
Reflexology is believed to have originated in ancient Egypt, China, and India, and has been used for thousands of years to help promote health and well-being. Today, reflexology is used as a complementary therapy to help you relax and for many people it can alleviate a range of conditions, including stress, anxiety, pain, digestive problems, and more.
The aim of reflexology is to achieve homeostasis – the natural balance and harmony of your body, leaving you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.
Do you have problems relaxing or have trouble sleeping? Maybe you have a specific pain or condition that you find difficult to manage or you just feel worn down by the stresses of everyday life. If so, reflexology is a great way to relax, restore your body’s natural balance and improve your feelings of health and wellbeing.
Are you interested in the restorative powers of reflexology but you don’t like your feet being touched or you feel you may be too ticklish. In that case, hand reflexology may be the perfect solution to help you relax, unwind and feel restored and rejuvenated.
Do you have problems with back pain, such as sciatica and find it difficult to find relief? Or do you struggle with headaches or digestive problems? Spinal Foot reflexology taps into your nervous system and for many people it provides relief from their symptoms as well as leaving them feeling deeply relaxed and recharged.
Facial reflexology, similar to foot reflexology, promotes inner balance and harmony while enhancing the skin’s natural radiance and beauty. This holistic technique is designed to support optimal body function, with the added benefits of a firmer, glowing complexion that uplifts both appearance and mood. Because of the face’s proximity to the brain and cranial nerves, facial reflexology is particularly effective in supporting the body’s systems.
I also offer mobile reflexology for clients who aren’t able to visit my practice. Maybe your work schedule doesn’t allow you to find time for reflexology, or maybe you have mobility issues which prevent you from travelling. If you would like a home visit, there will be a charge for travel costs. Please contact me for more details. In preparation for a home visit, you just need a quiet and comfortable space for us to work in, free from distraction, so you can feel the full benefit. For more information about my mobile reflexology service, please get in touch.
